Meeting, 2015
At the invitation of the International Association of Suicide Prevention, World Health Organization, I created work during their 2015 conference. Meeting, features photographs I created of attendees and juxtaposes them in page spreads with images from my ongoing photography series, Boys’ Shirts. The last three images below depict an installation of an interactive project that I did with attendees in which they were invited to generate their own pages related to the topic ahead of the conference. Participants then sent me their works and I formatted and printed them on the Risograph. These pages were then available as takeaway artists’ books located within the main meeting room. Meeting is the second volume of Boys’ Shirts, the first volume, he, was published in 2014. Meeting, was exhibited at the Center of Design, University of Quebec, Montreal, Canada.
